Welcome to La Leche League on the Los Angeles Westside! La Leche League's goal is to provide you with current and accurate information on breastfeeding as well as mother-to-mother support. Having a support system of other breastfeeding mothers helps a mother achieve success in her nursing relationship, gives her the confidence to respond freely to her baby's cues and empowers her to make her own decisions about how to raise her children.
Free monthly meetings are led by La Leche League Leaders -- volunteers who have nursed their own babies and have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with breastfeeding as well as matters related to the breastfeeding relationship.
Leaders are are also available to provide you with information and support on the telephone. Please see our Telephone Support page for a list of local Leaders available to talk with you on the phone.
